28 GHz FP and DFB Laser Diode Chips
Use these Fabry-Perot (FP) and distributed feedback (DFB) laser diode chips to build optical transceivers and other components needing a few mW of 13XX nm laser output.
These InP laser diode chips are ideal for 13XX fiber optical datacom. The Fabry-Perot (FP) models are the most economical and do not require the cost and complexity of an optical isolator. Both types feature low relative intensity noise (RIN) of -132 dB/Hz1/2.

28 Gbps – Laser Diode Chips
Choose FP models for single-channel systems and where low-cost is paramount. Use the DFB chips for CWDM and LWDM applications needing tight wavelength control.
Key Features
All models designed for uncooled 28 Gb/s
FP type supports isolator-free operation
FP operating temperature -40 °C to 95 °C
DFB designed for NRZ for both CWDM and LWDM grids
DFB operating temperature -20 °C to 95 °C
